On a Roll

After a few very busy weeks on the tennis court, the Saint Michael's Women's Tennis team heads to the Conference Semi Finals on Wednesday, April 20th!

Yesterday's quarter-final match vs. Bentley was a great day of competitive tennis, as three of our singles matches went to 3 sets. However, we won 5-0!

We play #1 Southern New Hampshire in what should be a very close match, as we previously lost to them 4-5. The win would secure us a spot in the conference championship and a chance to play in the NCAA tournament for the 4th straight year.

Orlando

Well, we're officially back from our spring break tennis trip in Orlando. We couldn't of had better weather. It was 80+ degrees and sunny everyday! It was an amazing week to say the least. Overall, we went 2-2. We had a tough match against Adelphi and lost 6-3. The three sophomores took the 3 singles wins for our team, and we had really close matches at #2 and #3 doubles. However, we definitely feel prepared for our upcoming matches.

Along with tennis we were also able to do a lot of team activities. Each doubles team was given a night to cook dinner for the entire team, which was fantastic. It was awesome to have a delicious meal and have a "family" dinner. We were also able to go to a character breakfast, where we saw Minnie, Goofy, and Daffy Duck!! It was a blast, and we ate so much food.

Now that we are back in VT, we are excited for our upcoming matches. Our next match is this weekend against Bentley!
